      Infrastructure and services necessaries for the Technological Park of Jujuy

    Objective

    Description of the infrastructure and services needed for the installation of the Technological Park of Jujuy at the location proposed by the Production and Environment Ministry.

    Justification

    The possibility of having a sole physical space for the installation of the Technological and Informational Cluster will imply not only the generation of an enterprise incubator with technological bases, but also the possibility of the establishment of consolidated enterprises that require suitable infrastructure and services for the development of their activities.

    The access to the infrastructure and services within a homogeneous workspace, added to the generation of human resources by the Universities, provide an unbeatable framework for the creation, establishment and growth of companies. The fact of sharing resources and infrastructure and services costs minimize the expenses the companies must face, as well as during their incubation stage as when they are operating as a consolidated enterprise.

    But the aim is not only to reduce the taxes and services costs, but also to share all the resources that a sole environment can provide the technological companies with, and to which the Pymes wouldn’t be able to access otherwise, as for example an auditorium, conference rooms, training rooms, server sites. The modular organization of the destined offices allows the company to grow in size, acquiring more space to develop, without the need of expensive moving or adaptations.

    The proximity to the universities is a key factor for the investigation and development of the technological enterprises, allowing them to rely on the possibility of acquiring resources and training them in the university facilities as well as in the Technological Park’s, to get professional, legal and financial advice, technological and management support, among other benefits. The human resources generated by the university have a certain destiny, embeded into their activities, allowing the constant generation of investigators and qualified professionals.

    The Pymes benefit by being beside the great enterprises, even though they share competitive markets. The clients see the companies with trust, more reliability and professionalism when it works from a pole supported by the university, the government and other companies. The synergy that takes place between the companies allows them to work as a whole in the development of technological projects, including sharing resources.

    Facilities Characteristics

    The infrastructure proposed consists on developing the following items:

    • Modules for companies: it must contemplate the installation of work stations and space for the connection of other devices such as printers, switches, etc.. The modules must be able to combine in order to obtain others of different capabilities, thus allowing the company to grow without the need of changing modules.
    • Management Offices: it must contemplate the possibility of counting with interspersed offices between the modules, for company’s managers and persons in charge.
    • Conference rooms: it must contemplate two 20 people capacity conference rooms and the means to project presentations using a board or projectors, four 10 people capacity rooms and four 5 people capacity rooms. The rooms must also be interspersed between the companies’ modules, with the purpose of putting nearby places to hold meetings at the disposal of the companies.
    • Auditorium: A 60 people capacity auditorium, with projecting means, incorporated audio system and board. The location of the auditorium must be as far away possible from the modules for security reasons and to minimize the visual and noise derived contamination.

    It must also have:

    • Reception: it must contain a reception area with capacity for the installation of up to 3 workstations and a network printer.
    • Communal bathrooms: on each side of the building.
    • Individual lockers.
    • Space for the installation of a cafeteria.
    • Demarcated parking spaces.
